It’d be less than a month before the new batch of Binibining Pilipinas winners will be announce but there’s already a lot of noise as to who should get the prestigious beauty titles at stake at this year’s competition. We’ve witness the girls during their application, talent portion, press presentation, national costume presentation and the most recent fashion show and it’s time for us to reveal our Top 10 Binibining Pilipinas candidates as of March 20, 2012.
(1) Mary Jean Lastimosa
Repeater and 2nd runner-up from last year, MJ maybe the one to beat come April 15. The girl is stunning and without question, the body of the competition. Many were questioning her missing winning aura from last year but we think MJ’s just gunning for the big guns slowly but surely. At the moment, we’re reserving the Binibining Pilipinas- Universe crown for her.
(2) Karen Gallman
This girl may not have the height advantage but she makes up for it with her bubbly personality and consistent styling. She look very fresh and her face is one of the most stunning amongst the finalists this year so it’s likely that she’d place this year and our fearless forecast at the moment is that she may win either the Bb.Pilipinas-Tourism or The Bb.Pilipinas International title. We’re leaning towards the International sash.
(3) Nicole Schmitz
We love Nicole. She may not be your typical Filipina beauty but she’s got that X Factor. We love her confidence and her radiating personality. If MJ won’t win the Universe title if the pageant were to be held tomorrow, we’d gladly have Nicole win it.
(4) Jaine Hidalgo
Jaine Hidalgo may just be the darkhorse of this competition. She look exotic and she look really tall and she’s got a great body – there’s a lot of good things that is about to happen with this girl. Let’s see how it would play out come coronation night.
(5) Gina Joy Howell
Gina Joy Howell is slowly creeping up on top and she’s doing it right. This girl cannot be ignored and her enchanting beauty will definitely be part of the chosen few.
(6) Patricia Ejercitado
Patricia may have all that could win her a crown physically – her downfall, though would be her communication skills and confidence. If she could do a “Gatbonton” come pageant night, we’d gladly welcome the possibility.
(7) Janine Tugonon
There is no doubt that Janine will be part of the Top 10 this year with her exotic look and impeccable communication skills. She still need to work on her body but we’re wondering if opportunity would knock twice at her. She’s still better than most so she’s still part of our top 10.
(8) Roxanne Jesalva
This girl was our favorite a month ago but she’s slowly fading as the competition comes closer. We’re still hoping that she could wow us and maybe win one of the crowns and prove us wrong.
(9) Elaine Kay Moll
We believe that height is might and this girl has it. Question is, after her failure to crack the top 5 from last year’s Miss World-Philippines – can she actually make it this year? We still believe she can.
(10) Katrina Dimaranan
Dimaranan just needs to tone down everything and she may have a chance to up her position in this pageant.
